Part 1 · Picking the stone

How we help you choose the right slabs.

Part 1 — finding the right stone for your kitchen.

  1. Your kitchen, roughly measuredSend us rough measurements or a sketch — or draw it in our countertop designer.
  2. Slab count, up frontOur designer tool works out how many slabs your kitchen needs.
  3. Your tasteWe learn what you like — colours, style, and any inspiration photos or videos you've saved.
  4. Our slab yard firstWe walk you through the slabs in our own yard. Not there? We search our partner suppliers until we find it.
  5. Photos & videos to youWe send you photos and videos of the slabs we found, so you can decide from home.
  6. Inspected twiceOnce you like them, we bring the slabs to our yard and inspect them — before they reach the showroom and again after.
  7. Measured again before cuttingIf new cabinets are going in, we re-measure after they're installed, so nothing changes before we cut.
  8. Your kitchen, laid out on the slabsYou come in, see every slab, and we lay out your kitchen on them — showing exactly how many you need and where each cut comes from.
Part 2 · Fabrication & installation

From template to install — no surprises.

  1. Template, then 2–3 weeks to fabricateOur technician takes exact measurements (the template). Cutting and fabrication take about 2–3 weeks — it depends on the material, and with delicate stones like Cristallo we take the extra time to get it right.
  2. Dates told in advanceOur team gives you the template and installation dates ahead of time.
  3. Walkthrough after templateYou come back to see exactly which part of each slab goes where — before anything is cut.
  4. On time, in your windowOn installation day we arrive within the time window we gave you.
  5. Installed the same dayMost kitchens are installed in one day, including a backsplash in the same stone. A big kitchen may need 2 days — we tell you in advance.
  6. Tile backsplash & plumbing nextIf the backsplash is tile instead of stone, it follows next, together with the plumbing hook-up.
Fewer seamsWe plan the layout to keep seams to a minimum.
1-year full labour warrantyOn every installation we do.
Your stone is our responsibilityFrom the day you choose it until installation is finished, Acue takes full responsibility for your material.

Good to know

Questions about the process.

How long does countertop installation take?

After the template, cutting and fabrication take about 2–3 weeks depending on the material. Installation itself is usually done in one day; a large kitchen may take 2 days, and we tell you in advance.

Can I see where my slab will be cut?

Yes. We lay out your kitchen on the slabs before cutting, and after the template you can come for a walkthrough to see exactly which part of each slab goes where.

What if I'm replacing my cabinets?

We measure again after the new cabinets are installed, so nothing changes before we cut the stone.

Who is responsible for my slabs before installation?

We are. From the moment you choose your material until the installation is finished, Acue takes full responsibility for it — storage, handling, transport, fabrication and installation.

Is there a warranty?

Yes — every installation comes with a 1-year full labour warranty.
